[P] E R S O N A L I T Y
Happy-go-lucky type of guy who doesn't let anything bring him down. Has a sort of naive optimism and looks at everything in a positive light and can have a corny sense of faith and self-confidence.
Mischievous in nature, when he makes mistakes he pretends that he did it on purpose. He's a bit of a flirt and tends to act the same way to both girls and boys and treats everyone as equals. He's very gentlemanly and at times acts very mature for his age. Ty is from a rich family and can afford anything he wants, but he doesn't like to show it.

[B] A C K G R O U N D
When Ty was young, he was told that he was descended from the gods of the sun (his name means "sun" in chinese) so he looked up at the sun everyday. Eventually he looked so much that he went blind. He got mechanical replacements when he got older. ...At least that's what he tells people.
Ty's family (the Sun branch of the Houdai ancestry) has been in the technology and weapons industry for seven generations. They've developed many different kinds of weapons for the Chinese government and military. Just recently however, they've been dealing with business in the underground and several prominent chinese mafia.

✖ his eyes are android/synthetic. Therefore he has incredibly good eyesight. He has limited x-ray vision. He can mentally adjust his eyes to however he wants to set them.
✖ The only time he ever really opens his eyes are when he's being serious or when he's fighting so that he can predict his opponents' moves. Or just to intimidate. There is a way to manually shut his eyes down (aka make him completely blind)
✖ Although Ty dislikes pain, he's emotionally unaffected by it.
✖ Ty owns a Mercedes Benz SLR. He rarely ever drives it though so it remains relatively untouched in the LoX parking garage.
