Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

My school district is being an ass. xP

So here's the deal. Everybody knows that the economy is going down to shit, right? California seems to be hitting it pretty hard. ...From what i know anyway. So our school district decided to be assholes and gave every teacher in the district a 10% cut from their paychecks. They also decided this would be PERMANENT, so that even if the economy and financial issues get better in the next year, the teachers are not going to get a raise.

Outrageous yes?

As a result, all the teachers at my school are going to be striking tomorrow. It might last a couple days if the district board and the teachers union don't come to an agreement. I think they're striking outside our school... but it seems to be a huge deal in our district >_>

Half of me is really excited because YAY I DON'T HAVE TO GO TO SCHOOL NOW

and the other half of me is going "oh shit what now?" o_O

If i do go to school tomorrow, apparently the school's going to be forcing the students into our gyms under the watch of some unqualified substitutes and we're gonna have to fill out "life skills" packets. To hell with that! D:< But seriously, AP test are coming soon and if the teachers continue to strike... i have no idea how we're gonna be ready or anything O_o It's been raining alot today, so if it rains tomorrow, i'm going to feel really sorrow for my teachers... D;

Hmm but i am really looking forward to not going to school tomorrow.

I think my friends and i are going out somewhere tomorrow. I dunno. They almost never tell me anything :T

Ah... my condolences to the hectic chaos going on in your school district; the timing is just perfectly inconvenient ;_; Mine is going under similar troubles too--teachers are getting pink-slipped left and right. Hopefully with the new negotiation though, the union will let the teachers vote on a better compromise--they're quite willing to get 7-furlough days next year as long as everyone gets to keep their jobs.
