Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Hiatus + update on life + animeCons + NEW ICON

Hey everyone!
I'm sure it's pretty obvious from my lack of activity that i've decided to (unwillingly) go on a hiatus.

Ever since my second semester started, i've been loaded with schoolwork and i literally have no time to work on any of my own personal drawings and artwork. The most i can muster is several pages of doodles in my sketchbook but nothing huge like an actual illustration. ;__; And any free time i have i devote to finishing commissions. This is the first time i was given many color commissions at once so it's a learning experience. XD Perhaps i bit off more than i can chew? Hahaha oh dear XD;;;
At any rate, the only things i'll be submitting for a while are my commissions, and some doodles, if i can pull it out of myself. ;3; This also means i probably won't be able to reply back to comments very quickly (or at all) so i'm really sorry. ;A; If you really need to contact me, please note me. If i get a note i'll always check it.

In other news I'm getting really close to revealing more of my character Teito's story: AnteAnima. I've been basing a lot of my school assignments on the story and its characters so i'll probably get a chance to submit them to DA once i get the time

One of those assignments is a short comic that i have to make for my Graphic Novel class. It's due thursday so i have to work my ass off this week...

On the topic of Anime conventions, i plan on attending both Fanime and Anime Expo and their Artist Alleys. 8DD I already have a table for AX so i'm not too worried about it, but from what i know, Fanime didn't put their table up for sale yet... So i'm getting all nervous and stuff. I already bought the ticket for Fanime so all i need to do is secure myself a table. OTLLLLLL I plan on having lots of new stuff for Artist alley so i hope you guys look forward to it! 8) I really want to get a button machine, but i'd prefer to split the price with someone since it costs so much money... ;__;

So yeah i'll be away from DeviantArt for a while, probably until Spring break which is in mid March and after midterms for me. ...I'm probably going to be really busy for the rest of the year too... ;A; Ahhhhhh
